What if

What if?

I love the combination of these two words. What if?

They speak of possibilities. Questions that need answering. Outcomes, that are not set in stone.

What if?

What if, you had your own TARDIS?

What if, Captain Tight Pants was your neighbor?

What if, when he said, “I’ll be back”, he came to your house?

What if, the Borg were the size of ants, and they lived in the drawer in your kitchen?

What if, the Elf on the Shelf, came to life, but would hog tied your dog or cat, whenever you ran out of nachos?

What if, there was a Thunderdome event, between the Minions, and the Disney Princesses?

Most of the What If moments in our lives do not normally involve the examples above but, (If they do, seek help), the question, possibilities, and outcomes, can have a huge impact on our lives. What if, this happens? What if, that happens?

It doesn’t matter.

In most cases, those What If’s that you are so concerned with, are also not something you can control. So let those moments happen on their own. The best you can do is deal with the What If’s, of the here and now, and not the ones that may, or may not, happen.

Wanting something to happen is alright, but torturing yourself over it, is not. Let it be. What happens, happens. If things work out, great. If they don’t, great. Just enjoy the here and now.

And there is nothing wrong with the What If, as long as it is just the hypothetical, the dream, and you don’t hurt yourself wanting it to happen.

What if, your cat, or dog, had an obsessive need to scare you?

And, so you know…

My money is on the Minions.

What If. Enjoy what you do.
