I love the wonder that Christmas brings.
Especially where kids are concerned, or even adults that have managed to hold that child like joy. I love the look on their faces, as they check their stockings. And the smile that spreads across their face, when you hand them a present.
The excitement as they tear through the paper, to see what is contained within. And the screams that follow.
I love the look that is shared between two people, when a gift is given from the heart. That simple, little look, and the smile that accompanies it. The understanding of the meaning behind a gift, and the one who has given it.
The food, the friends, the family, that are their to share those moments with you.
I learned that Christmas was a time of love. It was not about the cost of a present, merely the thought that someone put into to it, knowing it would be for you. It was about the love that you held for those you thought enough about, to share a day such as this, with them.
I do not know many of you that read my posts, but I hope that your holidays are filled with smiles, laughter, and love.
Merry Christmas everyone.
